Chuck lives in Trinity, NC with his wife, Susan, and three sons. Chuck was raised in a military family where his love for art was shaped by the Masters in museums all over Europe from an early age. Blessed with artistic talent, Chuck pursued his gifting with a degree in Art Education from Appalachian State University in 1983. Chuck worked in jewelry, pottery and painting, but soon discovered his talent was in oils and has been painting ever since.
Chuck's oils are tied together with strong vivid color and composition. Subject matter is divergent with a strong spiritual backing reflective of his strong faith. These works are powerful and energetic and are presented as original oils on canvas and fine art reproductions, called giclees.
Other than painting, Chuck's hobbies include motorcycling, biking, bagpiping, flying, and restoring vintage cars and motorcycles.
